Pool use
- Under no circumstances should any electrical items be taken into the pool. This includes hoists and hoists handsets. This may result in electric shock or damage to equipment.
- Do not allow a person within your group, who may have a contagious illness (including diarrhoea), to swim.
- All members of your group must be physically fit enough to be in the pool.
- No footwear is allowed into the changing area or around the pool unless wearing protective covers, which are provided by the entrance door.
- All footwear must be left in the entrance hall or in the changing area.
- Do not swim after consuming a heavy meal or after alcohol, strong medication, or prescribed/recreational drugs (unless approved by your doctor).
- You must shower before entering the pool, as this reduces the need for extra chemicals in the pool. Items such as perfumes, body lotions, hair products, tanning lotions, etc. can contaminate the water and you may be charged for this.
- For sanitary purposes, we respectfully request that any incontinent person wears swim pants or appropriate incontinence swimwear.
- All users must wear appropriate swimwear.
- Do not leave any floats or toys in the pool when the pool is not in use.
- No running or jumping around the pool area.
- Please make yourself familiar with the evacuation board at poolside and be competent in CPR and First Aid procedures.
- No food, drink or glassware is allowed in the pool.
- Please do not touch the pool cover which will be taken off by WL Hydrotherapy or its staff before your visit.
- The maximum number of people in the pool area, including children, must not exceed four at any time.
- You must follow all instructions given by WL Hydrotherapy staff at all times.
- You must not use the pool alone. A minimum of two people must be present at all times when the pool is in use.
- Any accidents, injuries, or near-misses, no matter how minor, must be reported immediately to WL Hydrotherapy staff.
- WL Hydrotherapy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
- WL Hydrotherapy reserves the right to close the pool at any time for maintenance, safety reasons, or any other cause deemed necessary.
- Pool sessions are 45 minutes in the pool from the o’clock to the quarter to. Service Users must be out of the pool and away from poolside by 10 minutes to the next hour. For example, if the session is at 10am, Service Users can enter the pool from 10am and must start exiting the pool at 10.45am and be away from poolside by 10.50am.
- The extra 10 minutes where the Service User is away from poolside is for the Service Provider to carry out basic visual checks of the pool for the next service user.
- However, we fully understand the length of time it can take to assist in drying and changing an additional person. That is why if the Service User’s session starts on the hour there is a maximum ninety minutes before the Service User needs to vacate the Premises ready for the next service user.
- We recommend the Service User arrives for the booked session fifteen minutes in advance of the booking time.
- Photography and video recording are not permitted on the Premises without prior written consent from WL Hydrotherapy.
- Any approved photography or video recording must respect the privacy of other Service Users.
